Small offices that have limited space but growing business should look for a printer that has multiple functions packed into a compact machine. The Xerox WorkCentre 6015 has the ability to print, copy and scan black-and-white or color documents. There are alternative laser models that have built-in features to meet the specific needs of an office. The 6015VN model adds faxing and ethernet, and the 6015VNI has all of that plus wireless options. The connection option for the basic model is a USB port.

The scanner can quickly scan documents and load them into files or emails. The fax machine can send or receive faxes in less than 5 seconds and offers an automatic redial feature as well as a fax memory and a barrier to block junk faxes. The copy machine has resizing options and works at a fast rate. All of these functions will save users space and time.

Four Xerox 6015 toner cartridges are used during operation and they hold cyan, magenta, yellow and black printer toner. The color WorkCentre 6015 toner cartridges can produce up to 1,000 pages before expiring while the black can print as many as 2,000 pages. Replacement toners are available from the manufacturer or certified suppliers. More affordable remanufactured Xerox 6015 toner is available from third party vendors. OEM and remanufactured WorkCentre 6015 toner have the same yields and can produce a maximum resolution of 1200x2400 dpi.

There is a 150-sheet standard input tray as well as a 10-sheet bypass tray which allows the 6015 to support various types of paper. This color laser printer has a monthly duty cycle of 30,000 prints, an output rate of 15 pages per minute using black printer toner and 12 pages per minute in full color. There is an alert system to let users know when Xerox 6015 toner is running low, and built-in memory or 128 MB.
