Xerox 275 Printer Review
The Xerox WorkCentre Pro 275 is the faster multifunction laser printer of two models in its series, with speeds of up to 75 pages per minute compared to the slower 265 model. It also has a little higher maximum duty cycle, equipping it to handle large office workloads more readily, but still uses the same affordable design for Xerox 275 printer toner.
The standard functions included are printing, scanning, copying, and email, with faxing as an optional upgrade. A quick first page out time of 2.7 seconds is industry-leading, and is just one of many features that save users time. The unit also has a "print around" feature that will automatically skip a task in the queue that encounters a problem and continue on to the next job.
The paper handling capabilities of the 275 are massive. It comes with a starting total of 4,800 sheets of input paper capacity, which includes a convenient 100-sheet bypass tray. It also utilizes a 75-sheet duplex automatic document feeder for quick scanning, and its PDF processing with OCR capability makes it easy to create digital copies of paper documents, and then send them as email attachments or save them to the internal drive.
Heavy-duty devices often mean heavy-duty costs for toners, but WorkCentre Pro 275 toner cartridges have large capacities and low prices to keep operating costs down. Each Xerox 275 toner cartridge can provide up to 45,000 pages, and the WorkCentre Pro 275 toner supplies often come in packs of two, for up to 90,000 pages for each purchase.
It's far too expensive for all but the largest and busiest of office environments, but the speed and efficiency features of the 275 make it one of the best choices in its class. With the added benefit of a very low cost per page for Xerox 275 toner, it is a great value for the high-volume office.
