Sharp SF-2025 Printer Review
At a speed of 25 pages per minute, the Sharp SF-2025 laser copier isn't going to win any awards. For a small or mid-sized office, however, it might have just the right balance of performance and affordability, especially when users will save so much on Sharp SF-2025 printer toner. Numerous expansion and configuration options give buyers a lot of flexibility as well.
The SF-2025 is part of a model series that goes all the way up to the SF-2065, which is much faster, at 65 pages per minute. As a result, it lets those on a smaller budget get the same features of the faster model, and only sacrifice speed. It is still quite fast to respond to new tasks, with a first copy time of around 4.1 seconds. Warm-up time is a bit lethargic, however, at around 60 seconds.
The SF-2025 starts with a single 500-sheet main drawer and a secondary 50-sheet bypass tray. Several extra trays can be added to expand it even further, making it an excellent choice for a growing office. Buyers can configure the model with either a standard 50-sheet automatic document feeder or choose a reversing feeder that can handle duplex copying.
Replacing toners is quick and simple, and the low cost of Sharp SF-2025 toner cartridges makes it affordable as well. A large page yield of 15,000 for each Sharp SF-2025 toner cartridge also helps to keep the cost per page manageable. Best of all, compatible Sharp SF-2025 toner can be purchased from third-party sellers at lower prices than OEM supplies.
As the entry-level model in its series, the Sharp SF-2025 isn't overly impressive, but it's a good starting point for tight budgets. Upgrade options and affordable supplies are its best assets.
