The Sharp MX-M232D is a cost-effective multifunction laser printer, but it lacks the speed and capacity to keep up with heavier workflows. Upgrades can help expand its feature set somewhat, but its print speed of 23 pages per minute may be too slow for some buyers.

Although it can function as a desktop printer, the size of the MX-M232D may be a little cumbersome for some spaces.
