The Sharp MX-2615N multifunction color laser printer has the capabilities a large workgroup needs for both paper and digital document workflows, with print speeds of up to 26 pages per minute and a quicker scanning speed of up to 50 images per minute. Document storage is available, which can help reduce the reliance on Sharp MX-2615N printer toner and cut costs.

Also sometimes referenced as the MX-2615, the MX-2615N has a more affordable price than some of its larger counterparts such as the MX-2610N, and one of the major compromises is its smaller touchscreen interface. It still supports excellent swipe and drag gestures that make it feel like a high-end tablet computer in operation, however, and it just as easy to use. Not only can users monitor the level of toners and paper remaining from the panel, but also from the Sharp Remote Device Management interface on any networked computer.

Another compromise is the MX-2615N's limitation of 600 dpi output. This still provides sharp output, especially for documents, but may become a detriment to high-resolution graphics and photos. It still includes the same expandability as other models, however, such as a paper input capacity that can go from its initial 500 sheets (with 100-sheet bypass tray) to a maximum of 3,100 sheets.

The black Sharp MX-2615N toner cartridge can provide up to 24,000 pages, and go a long time between replacements, even in a busy office. Each of the color Sharp MX-2615N toner cartridges have a slightly smaller yield of up to 15,000 pages each, but are still very cost-effective.

With great networking and management features, intuitive controls, and impressive scanning functions, the MX-2615N is a good solution for an office starting to embrace networked and digital workflows. Its speeds may be a little slow, but it is still an excellent value for its price.
