Sharp FO-DC535 Printer Review
The Sharp FO-DC535 is a fax machine designed for the small or medium office, and its features are more advanced than might be expected for the price. Upgrades are available to add printing and scanning as well, so buyers can customize it to their liking, all while saving money on its affordable Sharp FO-DC535 printer toner supplies.
With a bit more paper capacity than other models in its line, the FO-DC535 is a bit larger. It weighs just less than 50 pounds, even with the drum and Sharp FO-DC535 toner installed, and it measures 18.5x21.5x16.2 inches. This is still quite compact, however, and it should have no trouble fitting into smaller office spaces.
Controlling the device is much easier than expected, thanks in large part to the 4.7-inch tilt-able display. Angling the screen for easier viewing is a nice touch, and the large control panel provides plenty of room for a full keypad and large, easy-to-use navigation keys. Users can even expand it for dual-line capabilities, so they can have multiple lines going to send and receive at once.
Choosing a laser model is generally about economy, as toners are much more affordable than ink. This is shown quite well in the inexpensive cost of Sharp FO-DC535 toner cartridges. Even better, compatible Sharp FO-DC535 toner cartridges are available from third-party sellers for less than half the price of OEM supplies, saving users even more.
Dedicated fax machines might be slipping in appeal, but buyers won't be able to find a model much better than the FO-DC535 for the price. It combines fast faxing with affordable operating costs to make it a very good value. It also offers enough customization to handle other tasks with optional upgrades.
