Duplexing and networking are two of the highlighted features, with both an ethernet port and wireless support included. It also supports mobile printing from smartphones, tablets, and other devices. Security features help keep important documents safe by requiring a PIN before printing starts. The Web Image Monitor can help users view the level of paper and toners remaining, or to solve maintenance issues, from any computer on the network.

With separate Savin SP C252 toner cartridges for cyan, magenta, yellow, and black, buyers will end up spending quite a lot on supplies. Each Savin SP C252 toner cartridge has an estimated yield of 6,000-6,500 pages, but the cost per page is still higher than much of its competition.

The SP C252 is streamlined for fast printing and high-quality output, and its response time, networking, and mobile printing features add a lot of value. Ultimately, it is let down by a high price tag and expensive supplies, however, making competing models a much better choice.
