The Savin C9120 is a robust office solution for color printing, scanning, copying, and faxing. It integrates well with an office network and even acts as a small server for digital files. Its print speeds might be a little disappointing, at up to 20 pages per minute, and the cost of extra toners for color makes it expensive to use.

As a color laser printer, the C9120 is a little larger than its monochrome equivalent, measuring 33.3x23.2x26.7 inches and weighing a hefty 220.5 pounds. The top of the machine sports a 50-sheet automatic reversing document feeder that can make two-sided scans and copies quickly, and it includes 500 sheets of input paper capacity divided between two main drawers and a 100-sheet bypass tray. Additional upgrades can bring it up to 1,600 sheets maximum.

When connected to an office network, the C9120 really shines. Management utilities like SmartDeviceMonitor are available for computers on the network or even accessible through the web, so administrators can keep tabs on the device, including usage tracking and Savin C9120 printer toner levels.

With a 160 GB hard drive included as a standard feature, users can store up to 2,000 documents for easy access. These are then accessible via the network for quick sharing, or can be printed directly from the control panel, which is ideal for forms, cover letters, and other frequently-used documents.

Although the Savin C9120 toner cartridges provide high page yields of up to 9,500 for each color and 10,000 for black, they are somewhat pricey. This brings the cost per page for Savin C9120 toner cartridges up more than some of the competition.

The C9120 offers excellent color printing quality and its upgradeability makes even more features available. Unfortunately, prices for Savin C9120 toner are too steep to make it a good value.
