Samsung ML-2250 Printer Review
The Samsung ML-2250 is a monochrome laser printer designed for the home or small office user. Its solid 21 pages per minute speed and good paper handling capabilities make it a good choice. No drivers are available for Mac users.
The Samsung ML-2250 laser printer uses a basic rectangular design, although its curved lines give it a sleek look. Its depth is deceiving, as there is a large block sticking out of the back for connecting cables and such. This reduces the unit's overall bulk, but adds a few inches of 'hidden' plastic on the back of the unit. The printer measures 10.9 inches by 14.1 inches by 17.8 inches (HWD), and weighs 20.1 pounds.
Paper handling is impressive, with 250 sheets in the main tray, and an additional multipurpose tray that can hold up to 50 sheets, depending on the media type. The total paper capacity can be expanded to a total of 550 sheets with additional trays.
The Samsung ML-2250 comes with USB 2.0 and parallel ports for connecting to a computer. Built-in networking is not included, though it could be connected to a network by using a print server or a host computer. Samsung provides an ethernet or a wifi upgrade option, but both are more expensive than third-party options.
Samsung ML-2250 toner cartridges have a capacity of 5,100 pages. The Samsung ML-2250 toner cartridge is very easy to access and remove, and paper jams are easy to clear. We offer a compatible Samsung toner cartridge at significantly reduced price when compared to the genuine version.
Print speed is quite fast for the price, at up to 21 pages per minute. Print quality is excellent, especially for text, which is very sharp and crisp. Graphics are also quite good, with good detail and only a bit of contrast loss.
Overall, the Samsung ML-2250 laser toner printer is an excellent choice for a personal laser or small office printer. Its compact size, affordable price, and fast speeds add up to an impressive printer.
