Offering high-quality color laser output in a very small package, the Samsung CLP-360 is an excellent choice for buyers with limited space. It is rated for monochrome printing at up to 18 pages per minute and 4 pages per minute for color printing, but replacing Samsung CLP-360 printer toner might be more expensive than users expect.

The machine occupies a footprint of just 8.3x15 inches, with a height of 12.2 inches, which is quite impressive. The control panel is very simple, with only four buttons, and four indicators that alert the user when the Samsung CLP-360 toner cartridges need replacing. The One-Touch Print Screen button is unique, in that it can instantly begin printing whatever is displayed on the computer screen at the time.

Automatic duplexing is not supported, though the software can guide users through the process of re-feeding pages for manual duplexing. The paper tray holds up to 150 sheets at a time, which should be enough for personal use, and it supports media sizes up to 8.5x14 inches. A number of media types can be used, including bond paper, glossy, card stock, and more.

Saving on the cost of replacement toners can be as easy as pressing the Eco button on the control panel, which reduces the amount of Samsung CLP-360 toner used for each page. The four separate Samsung CLP-360 toner cartridges can provide around 1,000 pages before expiring, but the Eco mode should boost this number considerably.

For its affordable price, the Samsung CLP-360 provides excellent color output and solid speeds. Its first page out time of 14 seconds in monochrome and 26 seconds in color are a bit slow, but it is hard to complain at such a low purchase price. High-volume users might find the running costs a bit too high, however.
