The Ricoh Aficio SP C311N is a multi-functioning color laser printer built for small offices. It can scan, copy and print, and each of its functions have quick and efficient results. Its lack of wireless printing may cause some offices to look elsewhere, but for many small offices, wired printing is just fine. Its USB ports and ethernet hookups are how the machine is connected to a computer. However, the necessary connection cords are not included upon purchase.

Its speeds are decent at 21 pages per minute, and its warm-up time isn't too slow either. It has a first page out time only 14 seconds when printing or copying using Ricoh SP C311N toner, which means business won't have to stop for a document to be printed. The speed of 21 pages per minute works when printing or copying using black or color toners.

This laser machine only uses four Aficio SP C311N toner cartridges filled with black, cyan, yellow and magenta printer toner. The Ricoh SP C311N toner has the ability to reach resolutions as high as 2400x600 dpi for printing and 600x600 dpi for copying, which will leave text and graphic documents looking sharp. The Aficio SP C311N toner can last up to 6,500 pages, and the cost per page is very low—much lower than some of the competition.

The Ricoh SP C311N toner cartridges have the ability to print on plain paper, envelopes, transparencies and labels, and sizes up to 8.5x14 inches are all supported by the machine. The SP C311N is compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems only. Up to 99 copies can be created from each original document as well, and reductions and enlargements of 25%-400% are offered. The scanner can hit resolutions as high as 19200x19200 dpi, and the fax machine can store up to 100 pages in its memory.
