There is almost nothing the Ricoh Aficio MP C2051 multifunction color laser printer can't handle, with its printing, scanning, copying, and faxing functions. It can even support mobile devices with its HotSpot technology. Its print speeds could be a little faster, at only 20 pages per minute, but the cost of Ricoh MP C2051 printer toner is very affordable, which might make it worth the tradeoff.

Ricoh's HotSpot feature may seem like a small add-on, but this technology allows users of iOS, Android, and BlackBerry devices to download an app that can connect to the machine, even remotely. The app provides cloud printing from just about anywhere, and can even provide information like status updates and the level of Aficio MP C2051 toner remaining.

The MP C2051 includes most of the basics one would expect, such as an 8.5 inch color LCD screen for easily controlling the machine, and a 50-sheet automatic document feeder that has reversing capabilities for duplex (two-sided) scanning. It comes with a fairly modest paper capacity of 500 sheets, plus a 100-sheet bypass tray, but it can be expanded to a maximum of 1,600 sheets for heavy-duty printing volumes.

Each of the color Aficio MP C2051 toner cartridges have yields of either 5,500 for the standard versions, or 9,500 for high-capacity versions.

The MP C2051 has an impressive range of features and can handle just about any office task a user would need. The addition of HotSpot support for modern mobile devices and the low cost of Ricoh MP C2051 toner really help it stand out as a convenient and affordable solution in the marketplace.
