The Ricoh Aficio 1515 laser fax machine is a good choice for a small office, but its print and copy speeds of 15 pages per minute aren't the fastest in its class. It has an expandable paper capacity to allow for future growth, and features like automatic duplexing are included as well. Multiple models offer different features and options, but all use the same affordable Ricoh 1515 printer toner supplies.

In addition to the 1515 base model, the series also includes the 1515F and 1515MF, the latter of which adds printing and scanning features. This gives buyers the control over which features they deem worth paying for. Each model features a 30-sheet automatic document feeder and starts with a paper capacity of 350 sheets, which can be expanded to a maximum of 850 sheets with the addition of optional paper trays.

The unit includes a standard USB port for connecting directly to a single PC, but also includes an ethernet port so that it can be shared among a network of computers. Options are available for Bluetooth and wireless networking as well. The machine measures 20.1x18.4x17.7 inches, so it is fairly compact. The 1515 is primarily a robust fax solution, but buyers will find it can handle a wide variety of tasks, especially the upgraded models. Its maximum speeds are a little on the slow side, but it is a solid value for the price.
