It has all the productivity functions a user would need, and even a few bonuses like ID copying and a USB port for thumb drives. This unit can compete with more well known competition, such as the Brother MFC-7340 toner printer.

The Ricoh AC205 laser printer can print, scan, copy, and fax. Despite supporting only monochrome printing, the scanner is capable of full-color scanning, though it can also do grayscale or monochrome scans. Ricoh AC205 toner cartridges have a capacity of 5,000 pages, and it uses a single black laser toner cartridge. The laser printer toner cartridge is easy to access and replace, and very affordably-priced, resulting in a low cost per page.

Print speed is very fast, at up to 22 pages per minute. Text is very sharp and defined, and readable at even small font sizes. Graphics quality is average for a laser printer.
