The Pitney Bowes AddressRight DA400 is an inkjet printer specifically designed to add postage and addresses to large quantities of envelopes or postcards. Up to 22,000 envelopes can be printed per hour at a 150 dpi resolution, but only 7,500 envelopes can be generated at a resolution of 600 dpi.

The DA400 holds up to 450 envelopes and 1,000 post cards in the bottom-feeding tray. There is also an optional stacking feature that will organize the finished products as they print out. After the Pitney Bowes DA400 ink has been applied to the media, it can be pushed through an optional High Output Dryer, which eliminates the possibility for text to be smeared or run.
