The X658 comes with a 100-sheet multipurpose feeder, 550-sheet input tray and two 550-sheet paper drawers for an assortment of media handling options. An additional 550-sheet paper drawer and an envelope feeder are available separately. There is also a built-in 550-sheet output bin. Other features that can increase workflow are the high capacity and extra high capacity toners. The extra high capacity Lexmark X658 toner cartridge has a yield of 36,000 pages and the high capacity printer toner has a yield of 25,000 pages.

The unit comes with a number of supplies, including starter standard capacity Lexmark X658 toner provided by the manufacturer with a yield of 18,000 pages. It operates with a single black Lexmark X658 toner cartridge system that provides users with low-cost maintenance.
