Print speed is quite fast for the price, at up to 22 pages per minute for black and 15 pages per minute for color prints. Photo printing will be slower, however. Overall, the Lexmark X5270 has enough features for the price to be a good value, but competing models offer better print quality for only a little more, and lower ink costs will save that money back in the long run.
