It packs all the necessary office functions into a small package, and its price is surprisingly low. Print speeds are good for the price, at up to 19 pages per minute with black and 10 pages per minute with color printer ink. The high price of Lexmark X4270 ink will be a major factor in the cost of ownership of the machine.

This model will be a better fit for a single user than for multiple users, as its monthly duty cycle is only 5,000 sheets, and it lacks networking functions. Since it works in standalone mode for copying and faxing, however, it may suit the needs of a small office well enough.
