The Lexmark C543DN color laser printer, also referred to as the C543, has built-in networking for easily connecting it directly to an ethernet network. This allows it to be up and running on an office network and available to network users almost right out of the box. It also includes automatic duplexing, or two-sided printing. This not only opens up more printing options for users, such as booklets, but also conserves paper by printing on both sides automatically. This can even be set as the default option for the office.

Its relatively compact size makes it a good choice for small offices as well, though it may be a little too large for very tight spaces. The unit measures 11.5 inches by 16.7 inches by 15.7 inches, and weighs around 46 pounds. Paper capacity consists of a single 250-sheet tray, but more can be added with upgrades, bringing the total paper capacity to a maximum of 900 sheets.
