The Lanier LD232c was designed to primarily serve as a print and a copy machine. There are optional functions that can be accessed by users that will allow scanning and faxing. This Energy Star qualified laser printer has an 80 GB hard drive and a 533 MHz processor built in. A maximum resolution of 1200x1200 dpi can be reached when printing with color Lanier LD232c toner. However, a less impressive resolution of 600x600 dpi can be produced when using only black printer toner.

The faxing function has a fast production rate of 3 seconds per fax using the 33.6 kbps transmission. The scanner has an impressive internal resolution and can send scanned documents to files or directly to emails. The copier can make as many as 999 duplicates from one original and has a large range when it comes to resizing options. All of these functions will help offices save time and space.

A total of four Lanier LD232c toner cartridges are used during operation. The color toners have page yields of 10,000 prints while the black Lanier LD232c toner cartridge can produce up to 19,000 prints before replacements will be needed. These high yields will keep the cost per page low. Another budget-friendly option is the remanufactured Lanier LD232c toner. This will provide the same quality and last the same amount of prints as OEM printer toner.

Finishing options are also available that will automatically fold or stable projects once they are complete. USB and ethernet are standard connections, giving users the ability to connect with one computer or a network of users. Bluetooth wireless connection is also available for users that do not want to be limited by wires. The maximum paper capacity is 3,100 sheets and many different media types can be printed on. The Lanier LD232c is versatile and reliable.
