Kyocera Mita KM-7530 Printer Review
Combining blazing fast speeds with fast scanning and affordable supplies, the Kyocera Mita KM-7530 laser copier is one of the best solutions for high-volume copying on the market. It can make up to 75 copies per minute, and its Kyocera Mita KM-7530 printer toner costs are very affordable, but its high upfront price and bulky design could be deterrents for small spaces and small budgets.
The KM-7530 is ready-made for large, high-volume offices and production environments, with not only fast speeds, but a high-resolution of 1200 dpi. It has a standard 20 GB hard drive for storage, which decreases the likelihood of slowdowns when copying heavy loads or large documents. It also starts with an impressive paper capacity of 4,200 sheets, and can be upgraded to a massive 8,200 sheets of input.
The automatic image settings are generally very good, but an EcoPrint mode can be enabled to help stretch the life of toners, requiring less frequent replacement of Kyocera Mita KM-7530 toner supplies. Optional printing and scanning components can be added, which also adds ethernet connectivity. This enables the internal hard drive to act as document storage for network users, and makes the entire system integrate more fully with the office workflow.
The large capacity of Kyocera Mita KM-7530 toner cartridges is impressive enough, supplying up to 30,000 pages with an estimated 6% coverage. What really keeps the cost per page low, however, is the affordable prices for Kyocera Mita KM-7530 toner cartridges, which are priced well-below those of most competing models.
The KM-7530 is too large and too expensive for anything less than a high-volume office with heavy workloads. In this environment, however, its speed, output quality, and affordability could be essential to keeping users productive and supply costs under-budget.
