The Kodak Hero 2.2 is a very affordable all-in-one inkjet printer that should greatly appeal to home users. It can print, scan, copy, and fax, and even has solid output speeds of up to 8.5 images per minute for black and 5.8 images per minute for color. Multiple capacities of Kodak 2.2 printer ink are available to help control costs, and the unit's upfront price is perfect for small budgets.

Even with features like an automatic document feeder, the unit is still pretty compact. It measures just 10.2 inches high with a footprint of 18.9x17 inches. It is also only 15.2 pounds, even with the two Hero 2.2 printer ink supplies in place, so users who need it infrequently could move it out of the way when it's not in use. The unit connects to a PC via USB port, but it can also handle copying and faxing tasks without a computer connection.

The LCD screen makes it easy to preview images and navigate menus, and its touchscreen operation means fewer buttons are needed for the control panel. The main appeal of the Kodak 2.2 is its low price tag. Users will get a lot of bang for the buck with so many features included, and its output speeds are quite solid for the price, making it a great value.
