Kodak C315 Printer Review

The Kodak ESP C315 is an all-in-one inkjet printer with a compact size that will allow it to sit comfortably on any desktop. One of the device's functions is a photo printing feature which includes image enhancement software like Kodak Perfect touch technology that can produce real-life images. The photo printer can automatically detect when a user chooses to print with plain paper or photo paper and is able to optimize image quality. Photos can print with lab-quality resolutions using Kodak C315 ink.

The machine has a copy function that can produce up to 99 duplicates from an original page. The copier can print duplicates on paper with a minimum size of 2x3 inches. The scanner uses contact image sensor technology and can scan documents with a maximum size of 8.5x11.7 inches. Scan functions include automatic-destination, optical character recognition for editing and automatic picture detection. Media handling features include a paper capacity that can support 100-pages of plain paper, 20-sheets of photo paper and 20 envelopes.

The device operates with a 4-color printer ink system and has optional high-capacity color and black Kodak C315 ink cartridges for those that print larger volumes. The high yielding black ESP C315 ink cartridge has a capacity of up to 670 pages, while the standard black Kodak C315 ink has a yield of 335 prints. The unit's standard tricolor printer ink can last approximately 275 pages and the high-capacity color ESP C315 ink can produce as many as 550 prints.

The C315 comes with a high-speed USB port so users can print directly from their computer. The machine also supports Wi-Fi technology for wireless printing. It has a size of around 16x6x5 inches and a light weight of approximately 13 pounds. The Kodak ESP C315 is an inkjet printer that has multifunction capabilities and the ability to handle a number of different media types and sizes.
