The Kodak ESP 9250 is a versatile all-in-one inkjet printer that can print, scan, copy, and fax, while producing some of the best photo quality available in a home printer. It includes some business-centric features like full-featured faxing and an automatic document feeder, and print speeds are very fast, at up to 32 pages per minute for black and 30 pages per minute for color. The cost of printer ink is kept remarkably low by affordable Kodak 9250 ink.

When it comes to all-in-one machines, buyers often have to choose between a model with robust features and one that is more affordable. The 9250 manages to strike a nice balance of the two, as a model that has many of the advanced features small business users want, but is still affordable enough for home users. It features a 30-sheet automatic document feeder for quick scanning of multiple pages, wireless support for connecting to a Wi-Fi network, and convenient features such as a 2.4 inch LCD screen and memory card slots to make it easier to use.

Not every inkjet model has to have expensive printer ink. There are two Kodak 9250 ink cartridges in the system, and both are very affordably priced. Large-capacity ESP 9250 ink cartridges are available for an even lower cost per page, and compatible ESP 9250 ink will save users even more on running costs.

PC Mag gave the 9250 a rating of 3.5 out of 5, with a rating of "Good". They liked its wide range of features, and found its text quality and speed impressive. They disliked its small paper capacity and found some of its features difficult to use.

The 9250 could feasibly be categorized as both a home printer and a small-business model. It has the robust features professionals need, but the creative features and ease-of-use that will keep home users happy. With its low upfront price and affordable Kodak 9250 ink, it is also an excellent value.
