The Kodak ESP 3.1 is designed for ease of use with features such as a straightforward control panel, an assortment of software features and wireless printing capabilities. The inkjet printer comes with software like Google Cloud print enabled applications that will allow users to print directly from their computer, smartphone or tablet device. The machine has a quality photo printing function that can produce 4x6 inches borderless photos in as little as 38 seconds. Full-color pictures can print with detailed and precise resolution of 9600 dpi using color Kodak 3.1 ink.

The 3.1 provides all-in-one features such as printing, scanning and copying. It can produce black-and-white projects at a rate of 7 pages per minute and color prints at a speed of 4 pages per minute. The copier can print the first duplicate out in as fast as 25 seconds. Duplicates and printed documents print with a crisp resolution of 1200x1200x dpi using black and color ESP 3.1 ink. The scanner can scan documents to a PC at quick rates with a maximum optical resolution of 1200 dpi. Scan features include the ability to scan multiple photos simultaneously and optical character recognition technology for editing.

The unit prints with a four-color printer ink system that includes a cyan, magenta and yellow Kodak 3.1 ink, and a black ESP 3.1 ink cartridge. Both black and tricolor have high-capacity Kodak 3.1 ink cartridges available, which yield 670 and 550 prints, respectively. The standard tricolor printer ink has a maximum capacity of 275 pages and the black can yield around 335 sheets.

With built-in Wi-Fi and networking technology, users can easily print photos from any room in the house. The 3.1 is a multifunction device that produces a wide variety of documents like full-color photos and exact copies.
