The HP DesignJet T620 inkjet printer takes all the highly praised features from other HP machines on the market and adds large format printing that users will love. All around, this machine exceeds its competition in the large format printing world. It is Windows and Mac compatible, and it makes a very large footprint of 49.7x26x15.4 inches. The weight is heavy at 103.6 pounds, but wheels are included at the base of the machine so that moving the unit is never a hassle. This will make its large weight not a problem at all. USB hookups are the only type supported, and wireless printing is sadly not offered. Finding and replacing the printer ink needed will be a synch.

All of these functions use six DesignJet T620 ink cartridges, and each holds a different color of ink. This machine can print up to 1.7 pages per minute and hit resolutions as high as 2400x1200 dpi using HP T620 ink. Coated paper, matte film, satin paper, photo paper and glossy paper can all be printed on by DesignJet T620 ink.

Consumers who have used the T620 find it to be close to perfect. They find the overall machine wonderful to use and easy to setup. The low price of HP T620 ink cartridges are applauded often, as well as the excellent resolutions produced by the inks. There are quite a few consumers who have mentioned how great the built-in cutting device is to have. When working with rolls of paper, this could definitely come in handy. There are a lot of reviews that speak negatively of the high upfront price, but the overall cost of the unit low, especially if HP T620 ink is purchased from third party vendors. For offices looking for a large format inkjet printer, there isn't a better option on the market.
