There are a ton of specialty inkjet printers out there on the market. One popular kind that many people don't even realize exists is the large format printer. These monstrous units make it possible for offices to create images, maps, posters and even line drawings in a professional and efficient way. Some will simply print; however many inkjet models, like the HP DesignJet T1100, have multifunction capabilities. The T1100 can print, scan and copy, and it does so at quick speeds and every document produced will look exceptional. Because this unit is so massive, at 69.7x28.8x41.2 inches, only large offices with a good deal of room or some extra warehouse space will be able to accommodate it. Thanks to its wheels on the bottom, the 189 pound weight shouldn't really be a hassle to move, but it is something to take into consideration.

For printing, there are six HP T1100 ink cartridges needed. There are the three standard colors—cyan, magenta and yellow—and three specialty colors of printer ink. These are matte black, photo black and gray DesignJet T1100 ink. Though the price tag on the HP T1100 ink tanks may seem a little high, the cost per page is actually reasonably priced, compared to a lot of the competition out there. The ink can easily be found in stores or online.

When printing using the DesignJet T1100 ink cartridges, it takes about 35 seconds for each individual page to be printed. These pages generally are dispersed via paper roll of up to 300 feet. There is also an automatic cutter on the unit so that buyers can adjust and crop documents in whatever way they'd like. While using HP T1100 ink, resolutions of up to 2400x1200 dpi can be reached, and the printer ink should be quite simple to replace when needed.
