However, the HP PSC 1200 not only makes it possible, but makes it easy. This machine can perform all of those tasks with a frame that measures only 17x10x7 inches and weighs less than 15 pounds.

This unit can print in black-and-white or color, requiring two separate HP PSC 1200 ink cartridges. The black printer ink can generate as many as 520 prints before expiring, but the HP PSC 1200 ink cartridge that holds cyan, magenta and yellow can only yield about 400 pages. When it comes to quality, this unit does not disappoint. The inkjet technology mixed with the high-grade HP PSC 1200 ink creates a resolution of 1200x1200 dpi in color and 600x1200 dpi for black-and-white documents.

The scanner has a 24-bit color depth chart, which is a much larger gamut than it might seem. The interpolated resolution is 19200 dpi and the flatbed surface increases the variety of documents that can be scanned. The copy machine can make multiple duplicates per scan and gives users the opportunity to resize the image from 50-200% the original size.

The PSC 1200 connects through a USB port and is compatible with all operating systems. It has a built-in memory of 8 MB and offers a 100-sheet input tray and 50-sheet output tray. The maximum speed per minute is 12 pages and the monthly duty cycle is approximately 1,000. Overall, this is an ideal machine for home office use.
