The HP Photosmart D5100 inkjet printer is designed to produce lab-quality photos in the comfort of a home or small office, and it can deliver output speeds of up to 31 pages per minute. The design of the D5100 includes a little more bulk than most buyers might be expecting in a home inkjet printer. It measures 6.7 inches tall, but has a large footprint of 15x18 inches. In addition to the standard black and tricolor Photosmart D5100 ink cartridges, the former can be replaced with either a Photo Color or Photo Gray HP D5100 ink supply, depending on what type of photo is being printed.
