For less than $150, a laser printer can be purchased that not only has great print speeds but exerts great quality is the HP LaserJet P1102w. Coming equipped with all the features a small office would want in a printer, it would suit the needs of most modern-day users. It is a monochrome printer, meaning it only uses black LaserJet P1102w toner, which could be a deal breaker for those with businesses that need color printing. People who want color should consider something like the the Xerox 6130 that features Xerox 106R01280 toner. For those who want a unit that prints exclusively with black printer toner, though, there probably isn't a better option, especially when the HP P1102w toner cartridges are affordably priced.
Weighing only 11.6 pounds with measurements of 8.8x13.7x7.6 inches, it is quite compact. Among its wonderful features is the option of wireless printing. No set up is required either, this has "plug and print" settings meaning printing is as simple as connecting the machine via USB to a computer and pressing "print". It offers manual duplex printing, as well as compatibility with Mac, Linux and Windows operating systems. Standard media types, such as labels, envelopes, plain paper, cards and recycled paper are all compatible as well. Using the printer toner, the cost per page is very low, but competing Dell 330-1436 toner costs only half the price.
Only one monochrome HP P1102w toner cartridge is needed for printing with the LaserJet. With a page yield of 1,600, this LaserJet P1102w toner will last quite awhile. Though the upfront price for each of these toners may seem expensive, when the page yield is factored in, it ends up being a fairly reasonable price, much like Konica-Minolta A0V30HF toner.
Consumer reviews of the LaserJet P1102w are all mostly positive. Those who have purchased the unit love its quick and reliable nature, complimenting it on its easy set up. The low consumption of HP P1102w toner is also a plus. Noise exerted and set up issues were the only problems recorded, and even in this case, they were few and far between.
