HP 7612 Wide Format e-All-in-One Printer Review

While its name leaves little to the imagination, the HP OfficeJet 7612 Wide Format e-All-in-One is a multifunction inkjet that handles wide-format printing with an eye toward network-enabled functions. It has ISO print speeds of up to 15 pages per minute for black and 8 pages per minute for color, and low-cost HP 7612 printer ink supplies help to keep it affordable in the long run.

With wide-format printing as a focus of its design, paper-handling becomes important. The unit can handle media at widths of up to 13 inches, but it can actually handle lengths of up to 44 inches when using banner media. The input paper tray can hold up to 250 sheets, though the output tray holds only 75 sheets in one batch.

Connection options include a USB port for direct printing, Wi-Fi for wireless networking, and an ethernet port for wired networking. The machine also supports mobile printing with Apple AirPrint and Google Cloud Print, or with HP's own ePrint technology, which also enables web-connected apps to be used on the touchscreen display.
