The HP LaserJet Enterprise flow MFP M575 multifunction color laser printer goes by the alternate name of MFP M575c, due to its color printing capabilities. Despite the extra cost for HP MFP M575 printer toner, it still manages to be affordable, and it can reach speeds of up to 31 pages per minute.

The device's 8-inch color touchscreen display is an excellent addition, and it makes complex operations more intuitive, especially for novice users. With multiple options for sending files digitally, the control panel is particularly useful for controlling the scanning function. Users can send scans to an email address, save to a USB drive connected to the front port, or to other locations like a network folder or FTP server.

The MFP M575 includes a large automatic document feeder to make scanning and copying of multiple pages a snap. Scanning speeds can reach up to 42 pages per minute, and an optical resolution of 600 dpi provides adequate quality for office use. The two 250-sheet output trays are likely to be limiting for those with heavier workloads, but an additional 500-sheet tray can be added.

The unit supports HP's own ePrint protocol for printing from any device by sending email to a specific address. The ePrint software in the control panel also offers web capabilities such as specialized apps and templates.

With additional color toners to replace, the overall cost of HP MFP M575 toner can be expensive. The color LaserJet Enterprise flow MFP M575 toner cartridges have a capacity of 6,000 pages each, but the black supply comes in two sizes. Standard black HP MFP M575 toner cartridges provide around 5,500 pages, while the high-capacity version can yield up to 11,000 pages.

The HP MFP M575 has a good range of features, and its touchscreen display is impressive. The main problem is that its retail price puts it out of reach of smaller offices. High costs for LaserJet Enterprise flow MFP M575 toner don't help either.
