The HP LaserJet M5035 laser printer is a multifunction machine designed for the medium or large office environment. If you need a multifunction printer for your small business, the HP M2727 toner printer may be more appropriate. Its fast speeds and multiple configurations make it a great choice for large offices with a variety of needs.

The HP M5035 laser printer is also referred to as the M5035 MFP, which stands for multi-function printer. In addition to the base model, there are two other configurations. The M5035x, or M5035x MFP, adds an additional 500-sheet input tray and a storage cabinet, as well as faxing and automatic duplexing (two-sided printing). The M5035xs, or M5035xs MFP, adds all of the above features as well as a 30-pages stapler and stacker, and a 500-sheet output bin.

It is worth noting that the LaserJet M5035 is a very large machine, even in its base configuration. Adding options adds to the unit's size, and it is intended to be placed on the floor, with included casters at the bottom for easily rolling it in place.

Print speed is fast, at up to 35 pages per minute. Text quality is very sharp, with dark and detailed characters. Graphics and photo quality is above average for a laser printer.
