The scanner has a 24-bit color depth and a flatbed surface that will allow it to scan a number of different media sizes. The copier can print up to 16 duplicates per minute for black-and-white projects and 4 per minute in color. Duplicates print with a sharp maximum resolution 600x600 dpi using black and color HP M275 toner.

The device has a four-color printer toner system that uses individual black, cyan, magenta and yellow TopShot LaserJet Pro M275 toner cartridges. The color toners can last as many as 1,000 prints. The black HP M275 toner cartridge has a maximum yield of 1,200 pages. Replacements HP M275 toner is available at third party vendor sites.

Paper handling options include a 150-sheet input tray, 50-page output bin and a capacity to store up to 10 envelopes. The unit provides driver support for manual duplex printing that will help users spend less on paper supply. Supported media types include photo, glossy and color paper, as well as transparencies, labels and cardstock.
