The HP CP4525 color laser printer comes in multiple configurations to fit practically any need. The CP4525n is the base model with gigabit ethernet networking, the CP4525dn includes networking and automatic duplexing (two-sided printing), and the CP4525xh includes the above, plus extra paper capacity for very high-volume office environments.

Paper capacity on the standard models is 600 sheets, but its total paper capacity can be expanded to a maximum of 2,100 sheets for busier offices. While the size of the base unit is not overly bulky, adding extra paper capacity will increase the size of the unit significantly. The unit measures 16.5 inches by 21.3 inches by 20.6 inches (HWD) and weighs 84.9 pounds with the HP toner cartridges, so it will take some help to move it around.

The machine is easy to set up for network sharing. The printer handles most of the setup itself, and includes a web interface for accessing it remotely, allowing users to change settings, view status, and manage print jobs from any computer on the network.

HP CP4525 toner cartridges are very affordable. The black printer toner cartridge comes in two sizes. The standard cartridge has a page yield of 8,500 pages, while the high-yield cartridge has a yield of 17,000 pages. Each color laser toner cartridge has a capacity of 11,000. Users who want a better cost per page should consider using third-party compatible cartridges, which are much less expensive than the OEM HP LaserJet CP4525 toners.
