The HP Officejet Pro L7780 ink printer is a robust AIO positioned as a business-oriented printer. The machine measures 20.9 x 19.1 x 17.5 in and weighs 40.8 lbs. It has a large footprint and you will need to make space for it on a sturdy platform. You can obtain print and copy speeds of up to 35 ppm and 34 ppm for monochrome and color pages, respectively. The AIO has a maximum input capacity of 600 sheets; duplexing and ADF are standard features. In fact, there is a separate button for two-sided printing on the printer dashboard so you don't have to route the command through the menu.

The HP L7780 ink cartridge printer is capable of a maximum print resolution of up to 1200 x 1200 dpi for monochrome and up to 4800 dpi for color prints. You can feed the machine cards, banners, labels, envelopes, plain paper, photo paper, greeting cards, and transparencies. The media card slots on the HP L7780 inkjet cartridge AIO support CompactFlash, Memory Stick, MultiMediaCard, SD Memory Card, and xD-Picture Card. The printer uses four ink cartridges of the HP 88 series, the colors being cyan, magenta, yellow, and black.

The digital copier on the Officejet Pro L7780 can copy up to 90 sheets at a time; you can enlarge and reduce originals to 400% and 25% of the original size, respectively. The fax can function stand-alone. It can store up to 99 speed dial numbers and has a memory for 125 pages. Incoming faxes can be stored in memory when the machine is switched off. The flatbed scanner offers a full optical color resolution of up to 2400 x 4800 dpi.

The HP Officejet Pro L7780 inkjet device connects via USB and offers both wired and wireless connectivity. You can also upgrade the machine to Bluetooth connectivity. It has a monthly duty cycle of 7500 sheets. Prints in the draft mode yield text good enough for internal circulation, photo prints are nice, and you can rely on the scans to accurately reproduce the original documents. Overall, this PC and Mac compatible device is a workhorse meant for networked SMBs.
