Looking for reliability, versatility and durability in a compact inkjet printer? Look no further than the HP Photosmart D5363. Crammed with features and functions that would make any home user happy, the D5363 is compatible with Windows and Mac. Not only can it connect with a USB, like more recent all in ones, but it can connect via wireless and Bluetooth connections as well. Enjoy music? One unique feature with the D5363 is that it has the capability to print directly on CDs—or DVDs for that matter—and it can also connect directly to an IPod. Though this unit can copy, scan and fax and it has a 3,000 page monthly duty cycle, it would probably still fit best in a home or very small office. The reason for this lies in its very low yielding HP D5363 ink cartridges.

Another great feature of the D5363 is its small size. This multifunction unit is actually portable, with a light weight of only 9.3 pounds and small dimensions of only 6.2x18.3x9.05 inches. Portability is hard to find in an all in one.

One black and one color Photosmart D5363 ink cartridge is needed for standard printing. These black and color printer ink tanks yield 200 and 300 pages, respectively. An optional photo color and photo gray tank of printer ink are available as well for photo printing. The yields for these are 130 pages for photo color and 80 pages for photo gray. Though high capacity versions of the HP D5363 ink are offered for the standard colors, these tanks tend to be quite pricey. If printing every once in awhile, this inkjet unit is very affordable; however, if printing at a high volume, this unit could definitely break the back with its low capacity HP D5363 ink.

There is one great thing about the Photosmart D5363 ink though—it produces high resolutions print after print—so if one is willing to spend the extra money for quality, the D5363 is the perfect compromise.
