Midlevel offices looking for a color laser printer may want to take a look at the HP LaserJet CP5225. Able to produce up to 20 pages every single minute, it may not be the fastest machine of its type, but the CP5225 does make up for that with the stellar resolutions of up to 600x600 dpi. Printer toner resolutions like that will leave users with high quality documents print after print. The first page out time when using color HP CP5225 toner is a little slow too at 17 seconds. Every month, though, this HP has the ability to produce up to 75,000 pages.

To operate it, buyers will need to maintain four HP CP5225 toner cartridges, filled with black, cyan, magenta and yellow printer toner. While the color toners can last up to 7,300 pages before expiring, the black LaserJet CP5225 toner will last about 7,000 pages before needing replaced. Though the page yields are decent, buyers who use the unit to its maximum capacity will probably find themselves replacing the printer toner more often than they'd like.

Using HP CP5225 toner, many different media types can be printed on with this laser unit. Bond paper, brochure paper, colored paper, letterhead paper, glossy paper, photo paper, plain paper, recycled paper, rough paper, glossy film, cardstock, transparencies, envelopes and labels are among the many types supported. It can even work in conjunction with preprinted and pre-punched media too. Up to 350 sheets of paper can fit into the input tray that comes standard upon purchase, but an optional 500-sheet input tray can be added if needed for an additional fee. Upon purchase, buyers receive a RAM of 1 GB. Though that can't be expanded like many can be, it starts out with a lot more memory than most do. It also operates with 800 MHz inside the processor.
