The HP LaserJet CP4025 color laser printer is designed for medium or large office environment. Its fast color printing speeds are impressive compared to other toners, and its built-in networking makes it easy to share.

The HP CP4025 color laser printer comes in two configurations. The CP4025n is the base model with ethernet networking, while the CP4025dn includes both networking and automatic duplexing, or two-sided printing. It is worth noting that the unit includes ethernet support up to gigabit speeds, although this is unlikely to impact print speed in any significant way. Automatic duplexing is a great feature for saving on paper costs, as it can reduce paper usage by up to 50% when enabled as the default printing option.

The unit includes a number of great security features, including a security card swipe for controlling access to sensitive documents. Color printing can also be controlled by giving certain users limited access or no access to color printing options. Total paper capacity is 600 sheets, but can be expanded to a maximum of 1,100 sheets as an office grows.

HP LaserJet CP4025 toner cartridges are reasonably-priced, giving it a fairly low cost per page. Each color laser toner cartridge has a capacity of 11,000 pages, while the single black printer toner cartridge has a capacity of 8,500 pages. A high-yield black HP toner cartridge is also available, with a capacity of 17,000 pages. Using third-party compatible cartridges can cut down costs even more, versus the OEM HP CP4025 toner cartridges.

Print speed is very fast, at up to 35 pages per minute for both color and monochrome. Print quality is excellent across the board, and first page out time is around 9 seconds, meaning less waiting at the start of a print job.

Overall, the HP LaserJet CP4025 is an impressive model that will suit the needs of a busy office quite well. Its expandability also gives it room to grow in the future.
