The HP LaserJet CP2025 color laser printer is designed for the home or small office user. An affordable price and fast speeds make it a solid color laser for users on a budget. The HP toner is also affordable, whether you select the genuine or compatible versions of toner cartridge.

The HP CP2025 color laser printer comes in four models. The CP2025 is the basic model with only a USB 1.0 port, the CP2025n adds networking support, the CP2025dn adds networking and duplexing, and the CP2025x adds all of these features with a USB 2.0 port. This allows users to get the functionality they need without paying for features they don't need.

Paper capacity is quite good, with 250 sheets in the main tray and a 50-sheet multipurpose tray for alternate media types and sizes, similar to the HP 2840 toner printer. The unit is fairly compact, with a small footprint that will allow it to fit into small office spaces. The control panel is simple, and might be a little too sparse for some users, with only a two-line LCD display for relaying information to the user.

Network setup is easy. Users simply connect the machine to the network and run the install process. The printer takes care of most of the setup on its own.

HP LaserJet CP2025 toner cartridges are fairly affordable, with a low cost per page. The HP CP2025 toner cartridges have a capacity of 3,500 pages for the single black printer toner cartridge, and 2,800 pages for each color laser toner cartridge. Compatible HP LaserJet toner cartridges are an excellent value and of equal quality to the OEM cartridges.

Print speed is quite good for the price. Print speed is around 20 pages per minute for both color and monochrome. Print quality is mixed. Text quality is excellent, with very dark and sharp characters. Color photo and graphics quality is generally good, with a few color accuracy problems and blotchiness in some prints.

Overall, the HP LaserJet CP2025 is an excellent color laser toner printer with fast speeds and good quality. Its many configurations make it easy to find one that fits your specific needs.
