The HP Photosmart C6300 is a color inkjet all in one that can scan, print and copy, and it can multitask doing two of these at a time. With a monthly duty cycle of 2,500 pages, it would fit best in a home office. The size of 17.8x15.6x8.2 inches won't take up too much deskspace, and even the weakest member of your family will be able to lift the unit, thanks to its 16.4 pound weight. It operates quickly too with speeds of up to 33 pages per minute.

Five HP C6300 ink cartridges are needed for all print jobs. These printer ink colors are cyan, magenta, yellow, photo black and black. The standard capacity Photosmart C6300 ink lasts 300 pages for color and photo black and 250 pages for black. For most home users, these yields will be just fine. However, there are high capacity versions of the HP C6300 ink too that take the cost per page down a little. The high capacity color printer ink will last 750 pages, while the black should last users about 800 pages.

Though the price tag on the OEM ink doesn't seem so bad, users can save money by using remanufactured Photosmart C6300 ink cartridges from third party vendors. Not only will they last just as long as the OEM products, but they can create the same excellent results.
