Want a great standard all in one that can print high quality photos? The HP Photosmart C5293 is a great place to look. With compatibility to Windows and Mac operating systems, the HP C5293 will be an easy addition to any home office. Hardly taking up any room, this thermal inkjet unit has measurements of only 17.8x15.1x9.3 inches. It is also easy to lift weighing only 15.7 pounds. Though it doesn't offer faxing features, printing, scanning and copying all come standard.

Inside this all in one, two HP C5293 ink cartridges are stored. These tanks hold black and tricolor printer ink, and they yield 200 pages and 170 pages, respectively. Though for normal printing these two tanks are all that are needed, for photo printing two additional Photosmart C5293 ink tanks are offered. One contains photo color printer ink, while the other contains photo gray. These photo tanks will create very impressive, high quality photos, and in order to use them, the black and tricolor Photosmart C5293 ink cartridges will need to be removed and these put in their place.

Though the switching of HP C5293 ink might seem a little too much work for some, the results are far worth the effort. The black can print with resolutions as high as 1200x1200 dpi, while the color HP C5293 ink can reach a maximum resolution of 4800x1200 dpi.

Also, many different types of paper can be printed on, making the C5293 a very versatile machine. Photo paper, plain paper, inkjet paper, labels, cards and envelopes are among the many different media types supported. Surprisingly, this unit can even print on CDs and DVDs.
