The HP Photosmart C5283 offers all in one features for an affordable upfront price. Able to scan, copy or print, this inkjet printer seems to have everything a home office could need in a small package, weighing only 15.7 pounds. It has a monthly duty cycle of 3,000 pages, offers high speed USB connection and is compatible with Windows or Mac operating systems. Really the only features it lacks are wireless printing and faxing—which many users don't need in the home.

A black and a tricolor Photosmart C5283 ink cartridge are needed for any kind of printing or copying. When printing with the black printer ink a resolution of up to 1200x1200 dpi can be obtained, and when printing with color, the resolution can reach around 4800x1200 dpi. Using the black or color printer ink, the copier can reach resolutions of up to 4800x1200 dpi. With the help of these black or color Photosmart C5283 ink cartridges, 32 pages per minute and 24 pages per minute can be printed, respectively.

Two optional photo HP C5283 ink tanks can be purchased for the best quality pictures. This HP C5283 ink is a little pricier, but is well worth the extra few bucks.
