The HP Photosmart C4150 can offer printing, copying and scanning at fast speeds with decent resolutions. From the outside, it looks like a great inkjet unit to add to any home office weighing only 12 pounds with measurements of 17.4x11.4x6.4 inches. It is compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems, it can connect via USB cord and it can even create direct prints from memory cards. Its flatbed scanner has a 48-bit color depth, and the copier can create up to 50 copies from an original document. The C4150 even has a built-in memory of 32 MB.

For printing and copying two Photosmart C4150 ink cartridges need to be in place. One contains black printer ink and the other holds color. If the user so desires, two HP C4150 ink tanks can be purchased for high quality photo prints—photo gray and photo color. The copier and printer can both produce 30 pages per minute using black HP C4150 ink and 24 pages per minute using color. All around, this all in one seems like a great addition to the home office.

User reviews of this thermal inkjet unit, though, aren't very positive. Consumer after consumer has complained that the C4150 has way too many issues with paper jams or even false paper jams. Another usual complaint is that the HP C4150 ink cartridges run out too quickly. Even a few have implied that the quality of the Photosmart C4150 ink is poor. Most say the printer itself is pretty mediocre, while others praise it for all its features and even dispute the claims that printer ink exerts poor quality. There really isn't a clear answer as to whether or not this unit is worth the money users will put into it, but buying it despite all the negative reviews could end up being an expensive mistake.
