The HP OfficeJet 9120 is a multi-purpose inkjet unit with faxing, scanning, copying and color printing capabilities as well as an automatic duplexer. Any small business looking to save space and time would be impressed and improved by the 9120's speed, quality and versatility. Printing 22 pages per minute using color HP 9120 ink and 25 pages in color, this printer is extremely efficient. It can also make copies at 25 pages per minute and send a fax in as little as 3 seconds per page.

There are multiple connection options for the HP 9120. The standard parallel port and USB 2.0 port are available, as well as a port for digital cameras and slots for memory cards. This unit mirrors its predecessor, the OfficeJet 9110, except for the addition of a built-in Jetdirect 629n Fast Ethernet print server that allows users to set up a top-of-the-line networking system.


Due to the high quality of the HP 9120 ink, color documents print at a max resolution of 4800x1200 dpi, while the black can reach 1200x600 dpi. The copying resolution is 2400x1200, and the scanner produces documents at 2400x2400 dpi with a 48-bit color depth for the printer ink. The 9120 also features "digital sending" which allows users to email scanned documents with one touch.

Reviews for this inkjet unit are mostly positive, especially from small work groups and office environments. Home users seem to struggle with installation but are still mostly satisfied with the final results.
