New Compatible HP CE285A Cartridge Instructional Video Transcript
The HP CE285A is compatible with more than 10 different models. It has an estimated yield of up to 1,600 pages, based on an average of 5% coverage. It measures around 14 inches long and 4.9 inches wide, and weighs around 1.4 pounds.
When you receive your new compatible CE285A toner cartridge, start by opening the box and removing it from the packing materials, including the bag.
Rocking the toner cartridge forward and backward is a method for redistributing the toner more evenly, and can extend the life of the supply. You will need to remove the protective tape strip by placing a finger inside the loop and pulling firmly to remove it completely. The last step in preparing the HP CE285A cartridge is to remove the paper that protects the drum by pulling it in the direction the arrow is pointing.
To remove the empty HP CE285A toner cartridge, you may need to open the output paper tray first, then lift the access panel. Grab the empty cartridge using its handle, and pull it straight out.
Slide the new CE285A toner cartridge into place in the same orientation as the one you just removed, aligning it with the slide rails on each side. Close the access panel, and you are ready to resume printing.
The HP CE285A toner cartridge is compatible with several HP models, including the LaserJet M1212 and P1102w series, and multifunction models in the LaserJet Pro series, including the M1130 through M1139 models, and the M1214 and M1216 multifunction models.
