The HP OfficeJet 7215 all-in-one inkjet takes the great office features of previous models and augments them with extras like a larger ADF and memory card slots for convenience. OEM prices for OfficeJet 7215 printer ink may be expensive, but savvy users can find third-party solutions. The unit prints and copies at up to 20 pages per minute for color and 30 pages per minute for black.

The automatic document feeder on the 7215 is an improvement from earlier models, able to hold up to 50 sheets at a time. This makes scanning, copying, and faxing multiple pages much quicker, with less manual scanning needed. Faxing transmission speeds are fast, at 33.6 Kbps, and the device has a memory capacity of 130 pages for when the unit is out of paper or HP 7215 printer ink and receives a fax.

The device might be just a little large for tiny spaces, as it measures 11.5x19.6x15.6 inches, though it weighs just 23.1 pounds (including the HP 7215 ink supplies) so it is not overly heavy. Memory card slots are included on the front for printing photos without a computer, and both USB and ethernet ports are provided, making it easy to share with other computers.

Although the 6-color system of HP 7215 ink cartridges sounds like a good idea, it requires swapping the black supply for a photo color supply. Not only do users end up spending more for the extra OfficeJet 7215 ink cartridges, but the process can be tedious, and will probably be skipped.

The OfficeJet 7215 is fairly impressive with its speed and design, though output quality is mixed. This all-in-one inkjet is affordable enough to handle office tasks quickly and easily, but users who do a lot of printing will find it expensive to operate, and high-quality photo printing requires swapping of supplies.
