The HP OfficeJet 7135xi All-In-One (also referred to as the 7135) has a fast printing speed of up to 22 pages per minute for black and 18 pages per minute for color. This inkjet provides a number of photo-centric features and can also scan, copy, and fax. HP 7135 printer ink prices can be a bit high, but compatible options are available.

The 7135 is aimed at users who want high-resolution photos, and multiple ways to get them into the device. It supports a maximum print resolution of 1200x600 using OfficeJet 7135 printer ink, and has memory card slots for taking images directly from your camera and printing them, even without a computer.

The scanner provides a method for converting photos and other documents to digital formats, and it supports a resolution of up to 1200x4800 optical for sharp quality. A large 50-sheet automatic document feeder can easily handle multi-page documents, but this does reduce the resolution to only 600x300, which is less than ideal for photos but adequate for everyday documents. The large control panel provides easy access to the various functions, with a full keypad for faxing.

Inkjet printers can often be expensive to operate, and using OEM HP 7135 ink cartridges may result in high costs. Using compatible OfficeJet 7135 ink cartridges, however, can reduce prices significantly, while providing the same output quality. The unit uses combined tricolor cartridge along with a single black supply. While this makes HP 7135 ink easier to replace, it can result in more waste as users may have to replace supplies that are not completely empty.

With four major functions and a fairly affordable price, the OfficeJet 7135 inkjet could be a good choice for a small office that needs to print color documents and photos. Potentially high running costs and reduced scanning quality when using the document feeder are the only minor drawbacks.
