The HP OfficeJet 6105 all-in-one inkjet printer is designed for the personal user who wants more than basic printing, but also needs faxing, scanning, and copying functionality. It provides the same excellent print quality as other single-use models, but its extra functions make it a better value for busy users. Multiple capacities of HP 6105 printer ink are available to help users better control costs.

With so many functions packed into such a compact machine, one might be tempted to think its features are limited, but this isn't really the case. Print and copy speeds are up to 19 pages per minute, depending on quality settings, the fax function supports Super G3 speeds for transmitting pages in as little as 3 seconds, and scanning resolutions are up to 2,400 optical dpi.

A 35-sheet automatic document feeder makes scanning, copying, and faxing a breeze, but there is also a flatbed scanning surface available for more flexibility. The unit uses PhotoREt technology and color OfficeJet 6105 ink to create photos with great clarity, and an optional photo color supply can configure the machine for 6-color printing to improve photo quality even more.

Replacing the HP 6105 printer ink can get expensive, but the color and black supplies are available in two capacities for better control of costs. Users who don't print often can choose the lower upfront cost of the standard HP 6105 ink cartridges, while busy users can choose the lower cost per page and better value of the larger OfficeJet 6105 ink cartridges.

Not all users will need its faxing, scanning, and copying functions, but those who do will appreciate the fact that the HP 6105 inkjet combines them all in a compact design. Each function is quite robust, and its print quality is excellent across the board.
