There are two high quality OfficeJet 590 ink cartridges that come standard with this inkjet printer. One contains black printer ink while the other has cyan, magenta and yellow. The black HP 590 ink cartridge can yield up to 720 pages and the color tank can last for about 350 pages.

The fax machine has a transmission speed of 6 seconds per page, holds up to 80 speed dials and has a 65 page memory. The scanner has a maximum resolution of 600 dpi. Bother the copier and the printer can produce 5 pages per minute using black HP 590 ink. As little as 2 pages per minute are printed or copied using the color printer ink.

Even if this inkjet unit is used for high-volume jobs, replacement OfficeJet 590 ink tanks are affordable and easy to find. This is not the finest printer on the market, but for simple users it will be more than enough.
